Bobcat Ladies United kick off event set for Thursday
Under the umbrella of the Bobcat Club, Montana State Athletics has kicked off the Bobcat Ladies United, or BLU, organization. BLU is a group dedicated to bringing together the female supporters of Bobcat Athletics through special events. Members will have the opportunity to meet and take part in activities that will enhance their Bobcat experience.
BLU's mission is to gain the support of Bobcat fans and increase awareness of MSU Athletics, specifically focusing on raising money for the women's athletic programs including but not limited to basketball, cross country, golf, skiing, tennis, track and field and volleyball.
An annual membership fee of $125 is required of BLU members which will go directly to women's athletic programs, administrative costs and the signature BLU silk scarf for each member. Our women's teams will use funds to assist with recruiting costs and other team needs.
To kick off this new progam, Bobcat Ladies United will be hosting the Kickoff Margarita Mixer at Santa Fe Red's on Thursday, July 17, at 5:30 p.m. Join us along with MSU coaches and staff and launch this new club exclusively for our female Bobcat fans.
