Bobcats Play on ROOT Sports Four Times in 2014

Cat-Griz, Eastern Washington among games aired on DIRECTV Sports Networks
The only two teams to win or share the last four Big Sky Conference football championships open the league's 2014 ROOT SPORTS television schedule on September 20 when Montana State hosts Eastern Washington in Bozeman.
That contest pitting MSU against the defending conference champion Eagles marks the first of four Bobcat appearances on the Big Sky's DIRECTV Sports package in the upcoming football season. That game is a non-conference tilt, as Eastern Washington and the Cats cycle through a season where the teams are not scheduled to meet each other in a Big Sky game.
Montana State also closes the league's ROOT television package, visiting Missoula for the annual Cat-Griz game on November 22. In between the EWU game and the Brawl of the Wild MSU makes two other ROOT appearances, visiting UC Davis on October 11 and hosting Idaho State on November 15. The matchup with the Bengals not only reunites two Big Sky charter members but brings former MSU coach Mike Kramer, now the Bengals top man, back to Bobcat Stadium.
The remainder of MSU's 2014 television schedule is expected to be announced later this spring.
