Zach Hutchins, DE: Zach Hutchins is a talented young defensive lineman from Las Vegas who figures into the program's long-term plans. He is, however, ineligible for the 2013 season for a violation of team policy.
Spotlight Player: At any roster number you could find, it would be hard to do better than Jon Montoya. He was a productive defensive end who was a starting defensive end for four seasons, an All-America and First Team All-Big Sky choice twice each, and a First Team Academic All-America. But when discussing Montoya with defensive coaches, they would go on and on about his technique and the force which with he played. He was consistently lauded for being a coach's player – someone who always did the right thing and was always in the right place. Since his graduation he has raised a family and worked in the ministry at a Bozeman church.
Notable #95s in the Bobcat Past: Kevin Donovan was a very solid defensive end on some outstanding Bobcat teams. An extraordinarily talented individual, Donovan is nonetheless a typical Bobcat football player – he accomplished far more off the field than on, producing movies and television commercials for many years, gaining considerable fame in the industry.
