DeNarius McGhee closes in on major milestone
When the inevitable happens and DeNarius McGhee's career as a Bobcat ends, he will have countless awards, honors and statistical achievements attached to his name forever. One of the most significant might happen in Ogden, Utah, today.
With 160 passing yards against Weber State this afternoon, Montana State's senior quarterback will become the third player in Big Sky Conference history, and the 11th player in college football history, to throw for 10,000 career yards and 1,000 yards rushing in his career. Doug Nussmeier of Idaho was the first player to reach the twin milestones in the Big Sky.
Ironically, when McGhee reaches the 10,000-yard mark passing he will be the second Bobcat to do so. Travis Lulay reached those marks in 2005, finishing with 10,746 career passing yards. Carroll College's Tyler Emmert also reached both marks.

Montana State's secondary depth took a hit this week when cornerback Ijumaa Armstrong was dismissed from the team. James Nelson slides over to back up at a corner, while Cody Cleveland moves into the depth chart at safety.

Montana State averages 3.2 sacks per game in 2013. Weber State has three sacks this season.
