Montana State All American Tyler Reinking finished sixth overall in the men’s 10-kilometer freestyle, Saturday morning at the Denver Invitational in Minturn, Colo.

Reinking notched 37 points for the Bobcats in a time of 27:30.1. He was followed in scoring by Michael Schallinger, 12th, 28:01.2, and Pat Madden, 15th, 28:25.6.
Alaska-Achorage's Lukas Ebner won the individual title in 26:16.1
Other MSU finishers included Luke Bromley, 20th, and Scott Phelan, 25th.
The Montana State women were led by Jessica Yeaton, who placed tenth, covering the 5k course in 16:47.1. She was followed by Isabella Smith, 12th, 16:56.9, and Kate Backsturm, 20th, 17:45.8. Annie Liotta placed 27th overall.
Colorado's Joanne Reid won the women's crown in 15:27.3
After three events, DU sits atop the standings with 639 points. The Pioneers are followed by CU 619, New Mexico 574, Utah 569, UAA 512, MSU 496, Westminster 337, Wyoming 122 and Colorado Mountain College 92.
The Denver Invitational will conclude with the Nordic classical races on Sunday.
