Minter a game-time decision, but Bleskin, Devereux out for Southern Utah game
Montana State won't be playing with a full hand when the Bobcats visit Southern Utah for that school's first-ever Big Sky home game on Saturday.
Wide receiver Tanner Bleskin, the team's top pass-catcher in 2012, and left guard Matthew Devereux will each miss Saturday's contest with injuries, Rob Ash said Saturday. Brian Flotkoetter will start at receiver, with Kruiz Siewing also moving into the rotation. Kyle Godecke starts at guard.
While Ash said some tweaks to the game plan seem certain, he said his program maintains a next-man-up philosophy. "We never put everything on the player who moves into the starting lineup," Ash said. "It's an 11-man game, and everyone needs to step up and perform well."

Montana State faces a first-time Big Sky foe for the ninth time Saturday (not counting fellow Big Sky charter members). MSU is 6-2 in such contests, most frequently topping Northern Colorado 13-10 in Bozeman in 2006. The Bobcats are only 2-0 in such games on the road, topping Nevada 12-10 in 1979 and Cal State Northridge 24-17 in 1996.
