MSU's offense continues to struggle
Northern Arizona led Montana State to a season-low 41 points, dropping the Bobcats 61-41 in Flagstaff on Thursday.
The Bobcat offense continued to struggle in the confines of the Rolle Activity Center. MSU turned the ball over 20 times, a season-high, and shot a season-low three free throws (to NAU's 17). Bobby Howard led the Bobcats with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Northern Arizona scored the game's first eight points, holding MSU scoreless for over five minutes. The Lumberjacks grabbed a 20-9 lead at the 8:08 mark of the first half, and held a double-digit lead for all but six seconds through the remainder of the game.
Northern Arizona shot 50% from the floor in each half. Shane Johannsen led the Lumberjacks with 16 points, while Cameron Jones added 11.
