MSU faces former coach, but Bengals making last trip to Bozeman until 2014
One week after grabbing 31-21 road win at Northern Colorado, Montana State hosts long-time rival Idaho State on Saturday at 12 noon. Montana State's oldest out-of-state rivalry gains a new wrinkle this year, with former Bobcat coach Mike Kramer now running the Bengals program. Kramer was 5-1 against MSU as Eastern Washington's head coach, and now faces the program he rebuilt into a national power after a dormant decade-and-a-half. Idaho State owns a pair of wins this season, and brings a dynamic offense led by quarterback Kevin Yost and receiver Rodrick Rumble to Bobcat Stadium. MSU counters with a bruising ground game led by sophomore Cody Kirk and the league's top defense.
