Bobcats Induct Six Standouts and Title Team into Wendy's Hall of Fame

All-America and All-Big Sky honors abound in Friday's MSU Wendy's Hall Class
Four All-Americas, two all-conference selections and a championship team enter Montana State University's Wendy's of Montana Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday.
Former Bobcat football players Dusty Birkenbuel, Pat Bolton and Larry Rubens, distance runner Miguel Galeana, skier Ingrid Gustafson, and volleyball player Karen (Weyler) Massey will each be inducted Friday at the Strand Union Ballroom on the MontanaState campus.
The social begins at 6 pm with dinner at 7 pm and induction ceremonies following dinner.
Birkenbuel earned First Team All-Big Sky and Honorable Mention All-America honors as a senior. Bolton ended his MSU career as the NCAA's all-time leading kick scorer, earning All-Big Sky honors twice. Rubens also earned All-America honors before a successful NFL career. Galeana earned All-America honors three times, capturing four Big Sky Conference Championships along the way. Gustafson captured All-America honors as a senior, and Weyler earned Big Sky Freshman of the Year and All-big Sky honors. MontanaState's 1993 men's cross country team won the school's first Big Sky crown in track or cross country.
