Montana State's 2010 football recruits... all 18!
The list below is a quick look at Montana State's 2010 recruiting class. All 18 are signed and official, and leave their respective high schools today as Bobcats.

David Dash, Athlete, Fontana, CA -- Carried 132 times for 1,109 yards and 10 touchdown runs as a senior. An explosive player who could help in the return game next fall. David Dash finishes Montana State's 2010 signing day recruiting.

Taylor Dees, DE, Worden, MT -- Montana State has developed a tradition of dominant defensive ends, and Taylor Dees may be next on the list. Dees helped lead Huntley Project to a state title, recording 10.5 sacks along the way.

John Ellis, WR, Mansfield, TX -- The speed is eye-catching, but what Rob Ash really likes about John Ellis is the savvy. "We especially like the variety of routes he runs effectively," Ash said, and Ellis caught 41 passes for 714 yards and 10 touchdowns as a testimonial to that.
Steven Bethley, DB, Chino, CA -- Another versatile (get used to that word) athlete who begins his Bobcat career as a safety, but MSU coach Rob Ash can see potential for Bethley at linebacker. He is a dynamic, physical athlete.

Connor Verlanic, DE, Drummond, MT -- Connor Verlanic hails from a family that has long fallen on each side of the Cat-Griz festivities. He joins brother Andrew at MSU, while brother Alex stars at UM. Cousin Jim and uncle Ken each starred at MSU, as well. Connor arrives as a rangy, athletic defensive end with huge upside.
Zach Logan, DL, Deer Park, TX -- Zach Logan adds both size and athleticism to the interior of MSU's defensive line. His presence fills a high priority for the Bobcats entering this recruiting cycle.
Lee Perkins, TE, Great Falls, MT -- Another future Bobcat with ties to the other side of the Montana-Montana State rivalry. Lee's sister Loni was a sensational sprinter for the Grizzlies, and not surprisingly he brings good speed and a frame with growth potential to MSU.

Tiai Salanoa, TE, Oxnard, CA -- A tight end who plays like a wide receiver. Rob Ash cites Salanoa's growth potential in saying that he could be a multi-dimensional player as adept blocking inside the box as catching passes down the field.
Michael Foster, LB, Seabrook, TX -- Michael Foster rejoins Rob Ash on the sidelines next fall, several years after serving as a ball boy during the MSU head coach's time at Drake. Ash likes Foster for more than his Iowa roots, though, calling him a "prototype linebacker" for the Bobcat system.
Rhett Young, LB, Augusta, MT -- Another versatile in-state athlete. Young rushed for over 2,000 yards as a six-man standout last fall.

Josh Dirks, DB, Helena, MT -- An explosive and athletic defensive back from Helena Capital. Dirks led Class AA with eight interceptions last season, and also caught 63 passes for the Bruins.
Brian Flotkoetter, WR, Laurel, MT -- Brian Flotkoetter brings a physical presence and versatility to the Bobcat receiving corps. He caught 25 passes and scored six touchdowns for Laurel as a senior.
Sean Gords, DB, Torrance, CA -- Starred on offense, defense, and kick teams at North Torrance High, where he earned his team's MVP and Iron Man honors.
Matthew Thibault, Athlete, Belgrade, MT -- A dynamic return specialist whose eight kicks returned for touchdowns last fall landed him on the Great Falls Tribune Superstate Team.

Parker Bignell, WR, Drummond, MT -- One of the first four signings of MSU's 2010 recruiting class (the fax was time-stamped 9:27 am), Bignell extends a long and impressive family tradition of Bobcat student-athletes. His father Joe was an All-America tight end at MSU who helped lead the team to the 1984 National Championship, and before that Parker's aunts Joyce (rodeo, women's basketball), Janet (rodeo) and Kathy (women's basketball) Bignell competed at MSU. Rob Ash describes Parker as a "rangy receiver" who could grow into a dynamic, play-making tight end.
Robert Marshall, DB, Carrollton, TX -- This class' strong Texas flavor begins to emerge with the addition of Robert Marshall, a two-time all-district defensive back who earned team defensive MVP honors last fall.
Na'a Moeakiola, LB, Euless, TX -- Rob Ash describes Na'a as a "pure linebacker" who "plays downhill."
Kerry Sloan, RB, Harker Heights, TX -- A stout running back with speed and elusiveness. Sloan rushed for over 2,500 yards in his prep career, nearly half of that during a spectacular senior season.
