Montana State's men basketball team has secured a spot in the top four of the conference race with their win over Sacramento State on Thursday. The final standings will be determined after next weekend's slate of games. Montana State could finish either third or fourth and will host a playoff game on March 6. Season ticket holders will be given an opportunity to purchase their seats for the game. Tickets for this week's Cat-Griz game can be purchased by calling 406-243-4051 or 888-666-8262 (888-Montana).

Montana State women will travel to Montana this weekend as the first act of a double header in Missoula on Saturday. MSU is one of six teams still battling for five spots in the conference tournament. Only Eastern Washington has secured a spot in the tourney so far. Indoor Track and Field
Coming:
Feb. 26-27: Big Sky Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, Bozeman. Events start Friday at 1:30 p.m. A full schedule is available at www.msubobcats.com.
Montana State will host this year's track and field championships is Bozeman this week. The Cats have qualified 33 athletes in multiple events and hope to have several more in wild card spots by Tuesday. MSU competitors lead the conference field in four events: men's mile (Patrick Casey), men's heptathlon(Asa Staven), women's shot put (Amanda Murphy) and women's high jump (Jessie Greany)

Feb. 26-27: RMISA/NCAA Regional Championships, Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Montana State nordic and alpine skiers head to their regional championships this weekend for a last chance to qualify for nationals and a shot at the regional team championships. The NCAA Championships are in the same location March 10-13.
Women's Tennis (2-5, 0-1, BSC)

March 4: at Utah State, 2 p.m.
March 5: at Weber State, 11 a.m.
March 6: at Idaho State, TBA
The women's tennis team will mix non-conference and conference matches on their next road swing through Utah and Idaho.

The Montana State men are 3-1 in their last four matches. They host a pair of matches this coming weekend at the Anderson Tennis Center.
