MSU star lands prestigious national honor
The Walter Camp Foundation named Mike Person a 2010 Football Championship Subdivision All-America on Tuesday, the second such honor in as many weeks for Montana State's senior left tackle.
Person also landed on the American Football Coaches Association All-America team, which, like the Walter Camp team, honors only a first team. Originally from Glendive, Person earned First Team All-Big Sky Conference honors this season, starting all 12 games and helping lead MSU to a Big Sky Conference Championship and the FCS Playoffs.
A two-time All-Big Sky choice, Person graded out at 90% in 2010, and didn't allow a sack. The Bobcats led the Big Sky in scoring offense, total offense, passing offense, and first downs.
