The Montana State volleyball team dropped its final match of the season to Weber State 25-22, 31-29, 25-20, Saturday night in Shroyer Gym.
The Montana State volleyball team dropped its final match of the season to Weber State 25-22, 31-29, 25-20, Saturday night in Shroyer Gym.
Montana State (10-19, 3-13) received a career-high 11 kills from sophomore Macy Page, who also added a .348 attack mark, two digs and a block.
For the match, Weber State (4-27, 2-14) outhit the Bobcats .343 to .212 and also held advantages in digs and blocks. MSU won the battle from the serving line dishing up eight aces, including three from senior Meghan Albiston.
Defensively, the Bobcats were led by Rachelle Allen and Albiston with 11 and nine digs apiece. Albiston, who played in her final match for MSU, ended her career with 1,577 digs, which is second all-time at Montana State and tenth best in Big Sky Conference history.
Weber State was led in the win by Carissa Noble with 15 kills and four blocks.
