Ludwig is co_BSC Field Athlete of the Week

Ludwig, a senior in Media and Theater Arts, was honored for his regional qualifying triple jump at last Saturday’s ‘Cat-Griz dual in Missoula. The leap of 49’7.75” makes Ludwig the lone regional qualifier in the triple jump in the Big Sky Conference. The award is his first.
Other Bobcats nominated for this week’s conference awards:
Men’s Track: Dan Johnson, sr.
Johnson had a double win (200-400) at the Cat-Griz dual and anchored the successful men’s 4 X 400. Johnson missed the regional qualifying time in the 400 by less than a half second.
Women’s Track: Autumn Domitrovich, sr.
Domitrovich had a double win at the Cat-Griz in the 200 and 400. The 200 win put her on the top of the conference performance list at 24.34 and her 56.06 in the 400 was a season’s best.
Women’s Field: Amanda Murphy, so.
Murphy bettered her regional qualifying mark in the hammer by winning the event at the Cat-Griz dual with a toss of 179’7”.
