Coming:
April 16: Mt SAC Relays, Walnut, CA
Montana Open, Missoula, MT
April 17: Azusa Pacific Invite, Azusa, CA
April 18: Long Beach Invite, Long Beach, CA
This week, 26 track and field athletes will travel to three meets in California while the remainder of the men’s and women’s teams will compete at the Montana Open in Missoula.
Women’s Tennis (9-8, 5-1)
Coming:
April 17: vs. Weber State, 5:00 p.m. at the Bobcat Tennis Center
April 18: vs. Idaho State, 5:00 p.m.
Women’s tennis finishes their regular season at home this week. The ‘Cats are coming off a victory over NAU that gave them sole possession of second place.
Last Week:
Apr. 10: beat Northern Arizona, 5-2
The Montana State women’s tennis team snapped a five match losing streak to Northern Arizona posting a 5-2 victory over the Lumberjacks, Friday night in the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center. The MSU win was the first over NAU since the 2005 season.
Men’s Tennis (11-9, 3-2)
Coming:
April 17: vs. Idaho State, 1 p.m. at the Bobcat Tennis Center
April 19: vs. Montana, 11:00 a.m. at the Bobcat Tennis Center
The Bobcat men have their two remaining home tennis matches this weekend before finishing out their regular season on the road next week at Sacramento.
Last Week:
April 11: beat Northern Arizona, 6-1
April 12: lost to Weber State, 2-5
Golf
Coming:
Apr. 20-22: at the Big Sky Conference Championships in Chandler, Arizona
Spring Football
The annual Triangle Classic spring football game will be held in Great Falls Saturday, April 18 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Field in Great Falls. Tickets for the scrimmage are $5. Saturday will also feature youth cheer and football camps at Paris Gibson practice fields beginning at 2:00 in the afternoon. A ticket to the scrimmage will get youngsters into the clinics. There will be an autograph session for kids with Deacon Jones at Paris Gibson at 1:00 Saturday also.
