Bobcats Scrimmage Saturday at 11 am

Rob Ash isn't sure what he'll see from Mark Iddins, his top quarterback, in Saturday's Bobcat football scrimmage, but he's pretty sure Iddins will sleep well after it.
"Mark's probably a little tired," Ash said with a laugh. Iddins has taken most of MSU's snaps during the week at quarterback, with Cody Kempt out and Mark Desin having suffered a hamstring injury after moving back to receiver, where he played part of the 2008 season. Iddins and the Bobcats will scrimmage at 11:15 am for about two hours on Saturday, running anywhere from 75 to 100 plays.
Ash was happy with Iddins' performance this week. "With reps comes better execution," he said. "(MSU quarterbacks coach) Jim (Svoboda has) been on his case to throw the ball on time and be more decisive. We've kind of (taken) the wraps off and said if you throw an interception downfield on an intermediate or deep ball, so be it. Let's get a few of those out of our hand and get them down the field and see if we can make some plays."
