Track and Field Signs Prep Distance Standout

Heniz, a senior at Eau Claire Memorial High School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is a sectional champ in the 800 and 1600 races, and a top five placer at the state meet in the 1600. Heinz will enroll at MSU as an architecture major. He is a four-year academic all-state selection.
“We are excited to have Tyler in our program,” coach Kennedy said. “I believe he has that combination of speed and endurance necessary to become a good collegiate distance runner and he will be a great fit for our university.”
