Mbunga Earns Second Team All-League Honors, Bynum HM

Montana State center Divaldo Mbunga earned Second Team All-Big Sky honors on Thursday, the league announced, while guard Will Bynum earned Honorable Mention selection.
Mbunga, the Big Sky's most productive center in 2009, leads the Big Sky in blocked shots (1.93 per conference game) and rebounds (7.4) through the end of the regular season. The 6-9 senior from Luanda, Angola, was honorable mention as a junior, and averaged 10.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots a game this season. Mbunga shot 52.2% from the floor this year, ninth in the Big Sky. He earned Big Sky Player of the Week honors once this season, and twice as a junior.
Bynum, a 6-3 junior from Alamogordo, N.M., led the conference in steals this season with 1.9 pilfers per game. Bynum also averaged 10.6 points a game, shooting 51.6% from the floor in league games, 12th-best in the conference.
