Grizzlies Stop Bobcats in Fieldhouse

Montana's Anthony Johnson scored 23 points and the Grizzlies held MSU to 30.8% shooting, as Montana swept the season series from the Bobcats with a 78-63 win in Bozeman on Saturday.
"They did a very good job making us uncomfortable with their zone (defense) at times," said Bobcat coach Brad Huse. "You've just got to convert. I think we did a good job bouncing and finding creases in the zone, but 30% shooting is a bad percentage."
Montana led 36-30 at halftime, and grabbed control by scoring six of the first eight points in the second half. MSU cut the margin to four (52-48) at the 8:50 mark, but Montana's 11-4 run gave the Grizzlies control of the game.
MSU shot just 26% in the second half.
The Bobcats (11-10, 5-5 Big Sky) travel to Northern Arizona on Thursday night. Montana (14-9, 8-3) plays at Sacramento State Thursday.
