“We had another nail-biter,” said MSU head coach Mike Phillips. “It was a great win against a solid team. Idaho has some very talented players, but we didn’t play our best. However, we made up for it with great effort.”
Montana State opened the match winning at No. 1 and 2 doubles, highlighted by Jakub Dybala and Pawel Turzanski’s 9-8 win at the top spot.
Both squads captured three singles matches, with Turzanski, Fletcher Keyes and Alberto Fuentes winning at Nos. 3, 4 and 5, respectively.
The Bobcats will play at New Mexico on Sunday.
