The Aggies’ Jim Brouleau won a hard-fought 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 decision over MSU’s Corey Smith. Smith, a junior from Albuquerque, was ranked No. 82 in singles action.
Montana State earned its only win of the match at No. 1 doubles, where Jakub Dybala and Pawel Turzanski combined to notch a 9-8 victory over Roman Stoisavljevic and Eduardo Salas.
Montana State will face the University of Texas Pan American, Friday afternoon in New Mexico.
