Mbunga Paces Bobcats in Win at Hornets Nest

Mbunga ended the night connecting on four-of-five from the field, while converting 8-of-12 from the free throw line.
Also posting double-digits for Montana State (12-11, 6-6) were Will Bynum and Erik Rush with 14 points, apiece, and Danny Piepoli with 11 points, including three 3-pointers.
For the game, MSU shot 42 percent from the filed, while holding Sacramento State (2-24, 1-12) to 38 percent.
The Bobcats also won the battle of the boards, outrebounding the Hornets 38-28. MSU was led under the glass by Branden Johnson with a game-high 10 rebounds.
The MSU bench combined for 21 points in the victory, and the 'Cats posted a 16-4 advantage in second chance points.
MSU held a 27-24 margin at intermission.
Loren Heath paced the Hornets in the loss with 19 points.
The Bobcats will host Idaho State on Thursday night in Worthington Arena.
