Deacon Jones Joins Bobcats in Great Falls

Montana State makes its annual trek to Great Falls in April, as the Bobcats host the Triangle Classic Banquet and Spring Game on April 17-18.
This year's banquet is on Friday, April 17 at Four Seasons Arena, while the scrimmage is slated for Great Falls High School's Memorial Stadium on April 18. The speaker at this year's banquet is NFL Hall of Famer Deacon Jones, a member of the Los Angeles Rams' Fearsome Foursome defensive line and the man who helped popularize the quarterback sack as a common statistic.
MSU finished 2008 7-5, and returns a dominant defensive lineman in its own right, Bozeman's Dane Fletcher. A pair of former Great Falls CMR standouts, offensive guard Jeff Hansen and linebacker Chase Gazzerro, anchor the Bobcats on each side of the ball, while youngster Jared Rohrback, also a former Rustler, moves into the rotation at linebacker after a redshirt season.
