MONTANA STATE (11-10/5-5) at NAU (6-16/3-8), Sacramento St. (2-21/1-9)
Montana State enters a difficult stretch of its season this week, facing five of its next six on the road beginning with a crucial road trip to Northern Arizona and Sacramento State. The Bobcats face a pair of teams also scrapping for their post-season lives. With four of the Big Sky’s nine teams owning between three and five wins, Thursday’s matchup between the three-win Lumberjacks and 5-5 MSU holds particular importance. The game pits two of the Big Sky’s three best rebounding squads, as the Bobcats lead the league in rebounding margin (+2.8), while NAU is third (+1.1). Super sophomore Cameron Jones paces the Jacks, standing seventh in the Big Sky at 12.5 points a game and sixth in shooting percentage at 54.3%, but averaging over 16 points an outing in Big Sky play.
