Bobcat Student-Athletes Start Eighth Annual Toys for Tots Drive

Bobcat student-athletes will begin their annual Toys for Tots drive this holiday weekend. It is the eight year that Bobcat student-athletes have reached into their own pockets to donate for the cause. Over $10,000 has been donated over the last seven years to buy toys at holiday time for area needy youngsters. The drive is organzied by the campus Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
"This is a cause we really believe in and can get excited about," SAAC president Jamie Thorton said. "Every year, we collect money from our fellow student-athletes and then we go buy the toys to donate to the program. It's really fun."
