Idaho State out-hit Montana State .250 to .037, en route to a 25-10, 25-20, 25-16 victory over the Bobcat, Friday night in Reed Gym.
Montana State (3-22, 1-14) was paced by freshman outside hitter Taylar Barney with seven kills, five digs and three blocks. Defensively, MSU was led by Meghan Albiston with a match-high 16 digs. Freshman Kylie Edinger had a match high five blocks, as Montana State held an 8-2 advantage at the net.
Idaho State (13-14, 7-8) was guided by Emily Waldron with 12 kills, a .296 attack mark and 12 digs.
Montana State will close out its 2009 season at Weber State, Saturday night in Swenson Gym.
