Bobcat Game Notes vs. Sac State
1/6/2009 12:00:00 AM | Men's Basketball
Montana State hits the Worthington Arena hardwood for the first time in 2009 on Thursday, hosting an old nemesis with a new look in Sacramento State. The Hornets, under the direction of first-year head coach Brian Katz, stand 1-13 overall, 0-2 in Big Sky Conference play, and feature former MSU guard Jonathan Malloy. The Bobcats look to recapture the home-court magic that saw the team win a 70-67 overtime thriller over Utah Valley to extend the team’s modest four-game home-court winning streak. MSU remained on its free throw roller coaster ride in the loss at Montana on Saturday, when the team shot 50% from the line after hitting 89% against Utah Valley.
