Hansen, Daly Earn Sports Network All-America Honors

An anchor of Montana State's outstanding offensive line and one of the most decorated players in school history earned Sports Network Honorable Mention All-America honors on Tuesday.
Linebacker Bobby Daly from Helena, the Big Sky's leading tackler as a sophomore and junior, earned All-America honors for the second time after leading the Bobcats in tackles for the third straight year. Daly recorded 77 total tackles, including eight for a loss and three-and-a-half sacks. He broke up one pass and recovered two fumbles. Daly is a second generation All-America, after his father J. earned the honor in 1979.
Jeff Hansen, a junior offensive guard from Great Falls, anchored a Bobcat offensive line that helped Montana State lead the Big Sky in rushing yards and sacks allowed in 2008. Hansen's honor gives Montana State at least one offensive line All-America in six of the last eight seasons.
Daly and Hansen each served as team captains in 2008.
