On Austin Brown: "That was critical, getting production like that off the bench. He hit clutch shot and made big plays, and I thought his defensive energy was a huge factor for our team in the second half at a time we were looking for something to give us a lift. I credit Austin for his energy."
On Divaldo Mbunga: "He got some big rebounds and putbacks, and I thought he defended really hard. I thought his energy was critical for us. Sometimes he won't be denied."
On MSU's second-half run: "Most importantly you have to get stops to get a lead when you're down like that. I thought our offense fed off our defense some. We got a little more aggressive offensively, and some guys who were struggling broke through."
On EWU's Brandon Moore: "He gave us a lot of problems in the first half. One-on-one he can score some baskets, and you have to figure out a way to slow him down. In the second half I thought we did a better job inside."
