The Bobcat men face the number one conference team Portland State (15-5, 6-1) this week at home for the Altitude TV Big Sky Game of the Week. Tip-off will be at 2:05 p.m. This game marks the annual Coaches versus Cancer benefit game at MSU. Thursday the ‘Cats face off against Eastern Washington (9-11, 3-5). EWU is paced by Benny Valentine, the BSC leading scorer, averaging 17.2 points per game.

Montana State women continue their road trip this week traveling west for a two-game stint. Portland State (13-6, 6-0) is tied for the lead in the Big Sky, undefeated so far in six games. EWU (8-11, 3-3) is coming off a two-game losing streak at home.

Jan. 30: MSU Dual Invite vs. University of Montana and Idaho State
Coming off a strong performance at the MSU Open, track and field hosts another home event—the annual Dual Invite. This year’s model features Idaho State and the University of Montana, and is one of the few scored regular season meets for the ‘Cats. Field events start at 4:30 p.m. with track events taking off at 5:30 p.m.

Women’s Tennis

This weekend marks the first home event of the season for women’s tennis. Coach Albrecht’s squad hosts Portland State at noon on Friday and MSU-Billings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. Both events take place at the Bobcat Tennis Center.
