Montana State leaves Big Sky Conference play behind this weekend, heading for warmer climes and a contest with Southern Mississippi of Conference USA in Hattiesburg on Saturday. The Eagles are led by Larry Eustachy, who began his head coaching career at Idaho (1990-93), and also excelled at Utah State and Iowa State. Southern Miss has compiled an impressive 11-6 record this year, including a 19-point thrashing of Weber State and an 83-76 home win over Houston last weekend. Southern Miss is coming off a Wednesday night loss at Central Florida. The Bobcats lost to Northern Colorado at home on Thursday, and have lost back-to-back games for the first time this season.
