1/2/2009 12:00:00 AM | Men's Basketball
Nearly a month after opening the 2008-09 Big Sky Conference season, the Bobcats resume league play on Saturday with a 7:05 pm tipoff at Montana. The Bobcats and Grizzlies each stand 0-1 in the league, each with a road loss, giving the Treasure State's annual rivalry game an added edge. The talented Grizzlies, picked to finish second in the Big Sky, are led by the all-around play of Jordan Hasquett, who averages 11.6 points and 5.5 rebounds a game, and sharp-shooting guard Ryan Staudacher, who shoots 57% from three-point range. MSU follows the lead of a solid defense and the scoring of Bobby Howard, who averages 13.2 points a game.
