• Northern Arizona shot 74% in the first half on Saturday, but trailed 42-39 at the intermission
• Montana State shot 59% in the first half, 53% in the second
• Will Bynum, the Big Sky's steals leader, snagged three on Saturday, including a game-clincher that he turned into a dunk with 40 seconds left
• NAU out-rebounded the Bobcats 35-to-21, Montana State's second-worst rebounding deficit of the season and its worst since Washington State
• MSU turned the ball over only 11 times Saturday, the third time in four games the Bobcats have had 11 or fewer turnovers
FROM MSU COACH BRAD HUSE
"I thought one team had to assert itself (coming out of halftime). Both teams were in a nice offensive flow in the first half. I thought if we could get some stops we could surge out. Getting the lead allowed us to use some time in the second half.
"We talk a lot about trying to get the best shot we can on every possession. I thought for the most part we did that in the first half. They're a very good basketball team."
