Grypiuk and Albiston Earn All-Tournament Honors at Air Force Tournament

The duo helped the Bobcats to a second place finish at the tournament, behind UC Davis, and ahead of North Carolina State, Akron and Air Force.
Albiston, MSU’s starting libero, played in all 16 sets and collected 73 digs, averaging 4.56 saves per game. In addition, she posted two matches with 20 or more digs, and was in double-digit digs in all four matches.
Grypiuk averaged 2.93 kills in four matches, and added eight blocks and two aces. She had her best outing against Akron with 15 kills, a .433 attack mark, two digs, two blocks and an ace.
MSU will play at Washington State’s Cougar Challenge this weekend, which will also include No. 18 Wichita State and Northwestern.
