The Bobcats open their conference season on the road this week facing Idaho State, who lost their conference opener to Eastern Washington, 45-31 at Cheney. The two teams entered the fourth quarter tied 31-31 but EWU held the Bengals scoreless in the fourth. In last year’s contest, the ‘Cats topped ISU 40-20 at home.

The ‘Cats take their first crack at rival Montana this week on the road at Missoula on Friday. The Griz opened their road conference schedule over the weekend and dropped two matches to Eastern Washington and Portland State. The Griz are currently 2-2 in conference play and are led on offense by Amy Roberts with 3.14 kills per game, a sophomore from Eureka, Montana.

The Montana State women’s golf team is set to compete at the 11th annual Heather Farr/CU Memorial Invitational this Monday and Tuesday, September 29-30, hosted by Colorado University.
