Montana State Spikers Drop Two at Cougar Challenge

In its three set loss to the Cougars, Montana State (3-7) was led by Laura Viren with nine kills and three digs, while Kaytlin Van Burger added eight kills and a .333 attack mark. Libero Meghan Albiston posted a team-high 13 digs.
Washington State was led by Brittany Johnson with 14 kills, five digs and four blocks.
In its match with Wichita State, the Bobcats were limited to a .076 attack mark from the field, while the Shockers posted a .258 hitting percentage.
MSU was paced by Van Burger with eight kills and two blocks, while Jodeen Rademacher and Nicole Grypiuk added seven and six kills, respectively. Albiston guided the Bobcats defensively with a match-high 17 digs, while Viren added 12 digs and three blocks.
Wichita State was led by Emily Stockman with 12 kills and 14 digs.
