INJURY UPDATE
Safety Michael Rider (shoulder, 3-5 weeks) and running back Blayde Becksted (knee, 3-4 weeks), each special teams stalwarts, remain on the sideline this weekend. Otherwise, the Bobcats head to Minnesota with everyone else available.
TELEVISION INFORMATION
Montana State’s contest at Minnesota Saturday (10:05 am MDT kickoff) airs on the Big 10 Network, which is available on the Dish Network and DirecTV. The game is not available over the air or on Bresnan Cable in the Treasure State.
RADIO INFORMATION
Jeff Lasky’s call of Saturday’s game is available across Montana on the Bobcat Radio Network, and is also at www.msubobcats.com.

Montana State coach Rob Ash and Bobcat players are not available for media interviews on game day until after the contest in a designated area near the Bobcat locker room.

• Minnesota coach Tim Brewster’s son Eric is a member of the Northern Arizona football team.
• Brad Gerlach, the general manager of Minnesota’s radio network, played football for Bobcat coach Rob Ash at Drake.
• Montana State’s six sacks in week one was most in the Big Sky, but the Bobcats were held without a sack at Kansas State last week.
• The Bobcats’ only previous encounter against a Big 10 school came on October 29, 1927, when Purdue topped the Bobcats 39-7. Montana State struck on the game’s first possession that day, with Rip Wilson leading the attack.
• The only Minnesotan currently on the Bobcat roster is Kevin Dean, a reserve defensive lineman who did not travel, but MSU has benefitted from several outstanding Minnesota natives over the years. They include: All-America offensive tackle Brent Swaggert (Buffalo, 2000-03), all-conference guard Mike Quast (Excelsior, 1999-2002), tackle Paul Diercks (Stillwater, 1998-2001), tackle Brent Ludwig (Rochester, 1996-99), and MSU’s second-leading all-time quarterback Kelly Bradley (Zumbrota, 1983-86).
