Turzanski, a sophomore from Lodz, Poland, advanced to the championship match with a 6-2, 7-6 (4) win over Jakub Dybala. Smith, who transferred to MSU from Florida Atlantic, defeated former MSU standout Kyle McDonald 7-5, 6-3 in semifinal action.
Former Bobcat players Marek Gebicki and Chris Tokar combined to defeat Smith and Fletcher Keyes 6-4, 6-4 to win the Montana State Open doubles title.
