Olympic Track Trials Take on Bobcat Flavor

When Montana State rising senior Ellie Rudy takes the runway at the University of Oregon's track and field stadium tonight at around 8 pm Mountain time, she will be chasing more than a good mark.
She'll be chasing a dream.
Rudy, the two-time defending NCAA indoor pole vault champion, joins former three-time All-America Bobcat distance runner Lyle Weese at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials tonight.
Both Rudy and Weese, who competes in the 3000 m steeplechase, stand among the top 20 Americans in marks posted in 2008. Weese earned All-america honors in cross country in 2002, and in the 3,000 m indoors in 2002 and '03.
