“Sarah will be a great fit at Montana State,” Eitel said. “She’ll come in and train for the multis, as she is an outstanding hurdler and jumper. Sarah can be productive as a freshman in the Big Sky Conference.”
McGree was the state runner-up at the Montana Class AA state meet in both the 100 and 300-meter hurdles. She won the state title in the 100-meter hurdles as a junior. Her lifetime best marks include long jump (18-3 ¼), 100-hurdles (14.99), 300-hurdles (47.50), 100-meter dash (12.84) and 200-meters (25.90).
“Sarah is very versatile and will help us in many areas,” Eitel said. “In addition, she’s an outstanding student.”
As a prepster, McGree was a Science and National Honor Society member.
