Driscoll Named Academic All-America

Montana State’s Elisabeth Driscoll earned CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Third Team on Wednesday.
The Bozeman native finished her cross country career as a three-time All-Big Sky choice last fall, and finished her junior seasons in indoor and outdoor track and field by finishing fourth in the 10,000 meters and seventh in the 5,000 at the 2008 Big Sky Outdoor Championships.
Driscoll has also been one of MSU’s outstanding performers off the track over the past four years. A 4.0 student in mechanical engineering with a minor in German, Driscoll worked as an engineering intern in Germany last summer. She earned a 2008 MSU Award for Achievement, has coordinated MSU student-athletes’ Toys for Tots campaign, and has made presentations to several professional organizations.
Driscoll returns as a senior in indoor and outdoor track next year.
