Montana State Women’s Basketball Ranks Fourth in Attendance Increase

And now, the Bobcats have earned recognition for attendance.
In the recently released attendance figures from the NCAA, the MSU women’s basketball program had the fourth highest increase in attendance from the previous season.
Last winter, the Bobcats averaged 3,035 fans per game- an increase from 1,791 in 2006-07. Only Louisville, Arkansas Little Rock and Murray State saw a better turn around.
“I think the people of Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley are beginning to see some stability and success with the program, and they want to be part of it,” said MSU head coach Tricia Binford. “We put an exciting brand of basketball on the floor, and we try to be the best citizens we can off the court.
“We would like to thank everyone for their support,” Binford added.
Overall, the Bobcats finished 40th in attendance. Eight-time national champion Tennessee led the nation in attendance last season, averaging 15,796 per game.
