Outdoor Track and Field
Coming:
Apr.12: MSU Invite, Bobcat Track and Field Complex; field events start at 11:00 AM, track events start at noon
Montana State will host MSU-Billings, Carroll College and the College of Great Falls this Saturday at the Bobcat Track and Field Complex. Field events will start at 11:00 a.m.
Last Week:
Montana State's throwers dominated the day, and the Bobcats won five of six duals at Montana's Al Manuel Dual Meet Invitational in snowy Missoula on Saturday. The injury-racked Bobcats swept men's and women's teams from Eastern Washington's and Gonzaga, while the Bobcat women upset Montana. Five Bobcats qualified for NCAA Regional competition in the team's first outing of the spring, all in throwing events.
Men’s Tennis (9-11, 4-3)
Last Week:
Mar. 28: lost at Weber State, 2-5
Mar. 29: won at Idaho State, 6-1
The Montana State men’s tennis team posted a 6-1 win over Idaho State, Saturday morning to earn a split on its Big Sky Conference road trip. After winning the doubles point senior Kyle McDonald secured a 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles for the Bobcats. Also earning victories in singles action were Pawel Turzanski, Fletcher Keyes, Justin Hauck and David Kovas.

After a week off, the Bobcat women embark on two long road trips to finish out their regular season. First stop – the west coast and Portland State. The Vikings are 2-5 in conference play and trail the ‘Cats in the conference race, having beaten Northern Colorado and Idaho State in matches this season. MSU finishes up the road trip at Missoula. The Griz are currently 2-2 in conference, tied with MSU at fourth, and have four conference matches left. The top six BSC teams will advance to the conference tourney in Sacramento. MSU also has four conference matches left on the season.
Women’s Golf

Apr. 7-8: at the University of Wyoming Invite at Phoenix, AZ
Apr. 10: Big Sky Conference Preview Meet,
MSU teed off at Octillio Golf Resort in Chandler, Arizona Monday morning at the Cowgirl Classic. Monday includes 36 holes and 18 holes will be played on Tuesday. Following the meet, the ‘Cats will compete at the conference preview meet on Thursday at the Foothills Golf Course in Phoenix.
Spring Football
Apr. 12: Scrimmage, TBA
The annual Spring Game is scheduled for April 26th in Great Falls at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the gate at Memorial Stadium. The Friday night banquet is sold out.
