Bobcat Men’s Tennis Team Tames Bengals

Montana State (9-11, 4-3) opened the match winning Nos. 2 and 3 doubles to gain the first point against the Bengals.
Senior Kyle McDonald’s 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles secured the victory for the Bobcats. Also earning victories in singles action were Pawel Turzanski, Fletcher Keyes, Justin Hauck and David Kovas.
Keyes and Kovas each shutout their opponent in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
“We played very well this weekend,” said MSU head coach Mike Phillips. “I’m proud of the way the guys came out against Idaho State and got the job done.”
Montana State will play at Montana on April 18 in Missoula.
