MSU's Jasper Named Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Jasper, a native of Bozeman, Mont., was undefeated in singles and doubles last week as she helped Montana State to two Big Sky wins on the road. With the victories, the Bobcats climbed to third place in the conference standings.
In a 6-1 win over the Vikings on Friday, Jasper beat Lacey Pflibsen 6-0, 3-6, 6-1 at the No.1 spot. She also teamed with Laura Villegas the No. 2 doubles for an 8-3 win over Alyssa Ferry and Caitlin Stocking
.
The freshman downed Liz Walker 6-0, 6-2 on Sunday as the Bobcats beat intrastate rival Montana 5-2. Jasper and Villegas started the day by dispatching Rebecca Bran and Jessica Souza 8-3 in doubles. Heading into the match, the Grizzlies and the Bobcats were tied for fourth in the Big Sky with 3-2 records.
Jasper is 5-1 in both singles and doubles in Big Sky action this season.
