Montana State Men Avenge Tennis Loss

Senior Kyle McDonald paced Montana State (5-4) winning at No. 1 singles and doubles. McDonald dropped both matches to USU in January.
“Kyle McDonald was certainly a difference maker in the win,” said MSU head coach Mike Phillips. “He had something to prove and he came with a complete effort.”
MSU opened the match winning the doubles point with victories at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles.
Aside from McDonald’s win at No. 1, the Bobcats received victories at Nos. 5 and 6 singles to clinch the match following a straight set win by Esteban Ferrero at six singles.
MSU will play at BYU on Friday and Utah on Saturday afternoon.
