Montana State Men’s Tennis Team Chops Down Jacks

Montana State (8-10, 3-2) opened the match winning the doubles point by virtue of victories at the Nos. 1 and 3 spot. MSU’s top tandem of Kyle McDonald and Jakub Dybala captured their seventh straight win and remained undefeated in Big Sky Conference play with an 8-2 victory over NAU’s Chris Arena and Bradley Bristow.
“Kyle and Jakub really set the tone for us in doubles,” said MSU head coach Mike Phillips. “They are establishing themselves as one of the top doubles combinations in the Rocky Mountain region.”
The Bobcats won five-of-six singles matches, highlighted by McDonald’s 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles over Northern Arizona’s Jeffrey Morys.
