Golfers Head to Billings for Treasure State Classic

The four-team event also includes Carroll College from Helena.
“I’m excited to be golfing in Montana,” head coach Leslie Spalding said. “This is kind of a resurrection of the old Montana Challenge that MSU took part in back in the late 1990s, so we are glad to be a part of the new tradition.”
Spalding will take seven golfers to the event including current leading scorer LaRae Smith, seniors Kate Steffanich, Stephanie Simmons, juniors Shannon Donegan, Hillary Folkvord, Tessa Stevenson, and sophomore Elise Nielsen. The tourney takes place at Peter Yegen Golf Course in Billings and features 18 holes each on Saturday and Sunday, March 29-30.
