Golf Finishes 16th at Hawaii Invite

MSU finished 16th and one team member short on Wednesday. Senior Kate Steffanich injured her neck on Tuesday and wasn't able to compete on Wednesday leaving the Bobcats one score short. However, Spalding was optimistic about her team's play.
"We had another windy day but the ladies are getting more confident in their short games," Spalding said. "I think they will continue to improve as we approach the conference meet."
Senior Stephanie Simmons shot the low round of the day for MSU with 80, but junior LaRae Smith finished first for the whole event shooting a 245 to Simmons' 247.
The Bobcats compete in the University of Wyoming Invite in Phoenix on April 7.
