Golfers Fight High Winds in Hawaii

“It was very windy today with lots of gusts, so the girls struggled with club selection,” head coach Leslie Spalding said. “Add to that slick greens and tough pin placements.”
LaRae Smith led the Bobcats again Tuesday shooting an 81, matching her first day total and tying for 52nd place.
Team leader University of Arizona went from three under par the first day to 11 over par after Tuesday’s windy round. They are tied with the University of Oklahoma at a two-day total of 587. MSU’s two-day total is 666.
